Entry Information

Thanks for stopping by. It is our intention to host the highest quality meeting possible and to showcase our sport. For this reason we would love to see you compete in Christchurch .

Due to running a compact 2 hour meeting we have not allowed for heats in any event. Therefore please consult the Indicative Entry Standards before entering. All entries are required to be accepted by the Local Organising Committee (LOC). We will endeavor to advise athletes as soon as practical if their entry has been confirmed or otherwise. Confirmed entries will also be added to this site weekly from Monday the 1st of February.

It is expected that athletes who have met the Indicative Entry Standards should be accepted, subject to demand. However the LOC reserves the right to make the final decision and no correspondence will be entered into.

In the event that your entry is not accepted, you will have the option of being accommodated in the Canterbury Interclub Meeting in the same or a similar event. If your entry is not accepted for the International Track Meet and you do not wish to compete at the Canterbury Interclub Meeting or attend the meeting your full entry fee will be refunded. If however you choose to compete in the Canterbury Interclub then your entry fee will be banked and you will be issued with a second general admission ticket.

With the event being 10 days prior to the New Zealand National Championships it is anticipated that the Canterbury Interclub Meeting will also be of a reasonable standard and provide the opportunity for greater competition with athletes from different centres having the ability to compete against one another. Athletes (not meeting ITM entry standards) are encouraged to partake in the Canterbury Interclub meeting before watching "Track and Field at its best in NZ". Out of town athletes should email Craig Motley for further information and to make arrangements.

Confirmed athletes will receive relevant night information with confirmation including; venue entry, athlete area, warm up and call room procedures.
